The actor shared this exciting update to Instagram, supported with a video. In Border 2, Varun will pl ay a soldier. The clip begins with the text, India’s biggest war film has just gotten bigger. A few seconds later, we hear Varun’s voiceover: Dushman ki har gali se Jai Hind bol kar takarata hoon… Jab dharti maa bulaati hai, chhod kar aata hoon. Hindustan ka fauj.
Varun Dhawan expressed his feelings for the project with an excited note: I was in fourth grade when I went to see Border at Chandan Cinema. It made a tremendous impression on me. I recall the sense of national pride we all felt in the hall. I began to look up to our armed forces, and I still admire them for how they defend and keep us secure at our borders and during natural disasters.
Varun Dhawan described it as a memorable event, adding, JP Dutta sir’s war epic is still one of my favourite films. Having a role in Border 2, produced by JP sir and Bhushan Kumar, is a very special moment in my career. When asked about Sunny Deol, he stated, “Working with Sunny Deol paaji, my hero, makes it even more special.
